Remodeling Process

The Consultation

Upon receipt of your phone call, email, or completion of our online form, our office will be in contact with you to schedule a time to come to your home to discuss your remodeling ideas!

This meeting presents us with the opportunity to learn what it is you are desiring to remodel and what your vision is for the project. At Atlanta Legacy Homes, we take the time to discuss your likes and dislikes, while making sure we have a full understanding of your desired outcome of the remodel project.

Estimate

Using all the information and measurements gathered at our initial meeting and based on the discussed design, the team at Atlanta Legacy Homes will put together a preliminary proposal for your remodeling project.

At this meeting the details of the project will be discussed, including potential costs and timeframe for completion. In addition, the financing of the remodeling project will also be discussed. Depending on personal preferences, some clients prefer to fund their remodel projects with cash, others prefer financing it through banks or other institutions.

If both parties agree to the design, the preliminary amount and the timeline for completion, the contract is signed and a deposit is made, certifying a commitment to proceed with the project. Work with the architect and formally drawing up the remodel design will then commence.

Design Time

Our team at Atlanta Legacy Homes will take your ideas into consideration and provide design suggestions for your remodel project. We have previously put together the general overview of your remodel, but now is the time to work out the details.

Our team will work closely with you to determine every element of the project. We have many prior remodels and custom builds to show you as examples, as well as an endless supply of design ideas. Your remodeling project will be designed to meet your needs while upholding our highest standards.

Once the project ideas have been effectively communicated, formal drawings will be drawn by an architect and presented. Any revisions that need to take place will do so at that time.

Contract to Commence

With the final plans in place, we are now able to schedule a meeting between you and our team to go over the final contract. This contract will state the details of the project, including the cost and a timeline from commencement to completion.

Financial funding will be confirmed during this meeting.

If all terms are agreeable, the contract is signed and we move on to the next phase.

Remodel Zone

Let the construction begin! Upon clearance of any building permits and the like, we are ready to move forward with completing your remodeling project.

The length of time the process will last is dependent on its size and intricacy. However, during the remodeling process you will be able to visit the site area and see how the progress is going.

We are always a phone call away. If you have any questions or concerns during the remodel process, Atlanta Legacy Homes wants to hear from you. Disrupting your home for a remodeling project can be stressful, but we are here to make the process as smooth as possible.

Renovation Complete

This is the part of the building process you have been waiting for. Our team at Atlanta Legacy Homes will meet with you at your new residence. We will walk you through it to make sure everything not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them.

We will discuss with you how to care for and maintain your new addition(s) and provide you with any special instructions, if needed.

At the end of the walk-through, you will be presented with a Certificate of Completion.

Congratulations and welcome to your newly remodeled home!
